- Give you a clear plan, including exercises to do at home
Wear comfortable clothing that lets you move freely and gives easy access to the area being treated.
Meet Our Physiotherapist

Shelley Van Barneveld – Physiotherapist
Shelley graduated with a degree in physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario in Canada in 2002, and has worked in both private practice and public hospitals. Since moving to Australia in 2004, she has developed a strong interest in exercise rehabilitation and retraining the brain to produce better movement patterns.
Over the past two years, Shelley has completed intensive study in biomechanics through Conor Harris’s programs. This gives her a deep understanding of how the body moves and why pain develops, and she uses it to design exercise programs that optimise movement, improve posture and help clients feel strong in their bodies.
Shelley also holds a Certificate IV in Pilates and is a Certified Posture Exercise Professional (CPEP). She has a special interest in women’s health through perimenopause and menopause, helping women stay active, strong and pain-free through midlife and beyond.
