We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties.

Artificial Intelligence and Health Coaching Tools
Healthy Innovations uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to support the delivery of personalised health coaching through our HI Thrive platform. This section explains how AI tools are used and how your data is protected within these systems.
What HI Thrive is
HI Thrive is a health coaching support platform developed by Healthy Innovations. It assists your practitioner in preparing personalised health plans, tracking your progress between appointments, and providing general health coaching information. HI Thrive is a support tool — it does not replace the clinical judgment of your registered health practitioner, and all AI-generated content is reviewed and approved by Shelley Van Barneveld before it reaches you.
AI tools we use
We use the following third-party AI tools as part of HI Thrive:
- Claude AI (Anthropic): Used to assist in drafting personalised health coaching plans from consultation notes. Anthropic does not use your data to train its AI models. You can review Anthropic’s privacy policy at https://www.anthropic.com/privacy.
- Fireflies.ai: Used to record and transcribe consultations, with your explicit prior consent. Transcripts are used solely to prepare your health plan and are not shared with any other party. You can review Fireflies’ privacy policy at https://fireflies.ai/privacy.
Your consent
Before any AI tool is used in connection with your care, you will be asked to provide explicit written consent via our HI Thrive Consent Form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the quality of clinical care you receive at Healthy Innovations.
Where your data is stored
All health data processed through HI Thrive is stored on servers located in Australia (Sydney region). We do not store your health information on overseas servers. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
What AI does not do
The AI tools used in HI Thrive do not:
- Diagnose medical conditions
- Prescribe or recommend changes to medications
- Replace a consultation with a registered health practitioner
- Make clinical decisions without practitioner review and approval
Your rights regarding AI-processed data
You have the right to:
- Know whether AI tools have been used in the preparation of your health coaching plan
- Request that your data be removed from HI Thrive at any time
- Opt out of AI-assisted coaching while continuing to receive standard clinic services
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
Data Protection
Healthy Innovations is dedicated to securing the information you provide. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have implemented appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards. These measures protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. All data transmitted through our systems and stored in our databases is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols.
While we strive to protect your data, the transmission and exchange of information are at your own risk. We cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from us. Despite our efforts to prevent unauthorised disclosures, we cannot ensure that personal information collected will never be disclosed in ways that deviate from this Privacy Policy.
