It has become quite common to hear people talk about how tired they are all the time, or despite religiously following a good diet and exercising regularly they cannot seem to lose weight, or they are not quite sure what exactly the right diet is or what foods are actually healthy.  Unfortunately, many of us can relate to this.

There is so much information available on nutrition and what the ‘best’ diet is, but it can be very confusing and in some cases even contradict itself.

The truth is nutrition is very individual, which means everybody is different and what works for you may not necessarily work for someone else.  Our food fuels our body so it is in our best interest to put in the foods our body needs.  The trick is to find out what foods work for your body so you have abundant energy, are at your ideal weight and feel great after every meal.

A nutritionist takes the hard work out of figuring out what foods you should be eating.  They work with you to design a plan that works with your situation, your tastes and your body.  Most importantly, a nutritionist has specialised training so they can tailor your diet plan to accommodate any conditions you may have in order to get your body working at its best.

You will be working with a registered nutritionist dedicated to helping you achieve your nutrition and health goals.  Expect science and evidence based advice and recommendations that will work with your reality.  This is not a fad or popular diet plan – it is a solution that fits your individual needs.

In your one-on-one consult our nutritionist will build a comprehensive picture of your lifestyle and health goals.  She will discuss:

  • any relevant medical history,
  • your day to day eating habits,
  • exercise habits,
  • your likes, dislikes and challenges.
  • what you hope to achieve and why,

Together, our nutritionist and you will pave out a plan, setting smaller goals to help you reach your bigger goal.  Every professional has her tools.  Food is our nutritionist’s.  Expect advice, tools and strategies that bring real food into real life.

Follow up consults are typically every 2-4 weeks, depending on each individual client and where we are at in your journey. These sessions are about addressing your challenges, celebrating your success and ensuring accountability. We will review your eating habits and work together to address challenges.

We feel very strongly about working together rather than telling you what to do.  We become your partner in your journey and your ally. This is the most effective way to make lasting healthy lifestyle changes and building lifelong positive habits.
